Window soundproofing in Dallas.

Uptown nightlife, Downtown density, Deep Ellum music, Lakewood's historic windows, Love Field overhead — the right fix changes by neighborhood.

Dallas isn't one noise problem, it's a dozen. The racket in a Deep Ellum loft is nothing like the racket in a Lakewood bungalow, and a Downtown high-rise, an Uptown condo, and a house under the Love Field flight path each have their own version of it.

By neighborhood

One city, very
different noise.

Most soundproofing pages treat a city as a single thing. Dallas doesn't work that way — the sources change block to block, and the right answer changes with them. Here's how it breaks down by area, and where an interior acrylic insert fits each one.

Uptown

Uptown's noise is people and the places they go. McKinney Avenue's restaurants and nightlife run late, and much of the residential stock is high-rise condo — so the noise is voices, traffic, and street activity coming up at your windows, and replacing those windows usually isn't your decision anyway. The panels mount inside with nothing structural touched, which fits condo living.

Downtown

Downtown is density, and the fact that it never fully shuts off. High-rise living puts you over 24-hour street activity — traffic, sirens, deliveries, crowds. It's a steady wash of mostly high-frequency sound, the kind the panels cut the most, and again it's largely condo and rental stock where an insert is the only realistic route.

Lower Greenville and Deep Ellum

Bar and live-music territory, and the noise is late-night by nature — music, crowds, and traffic that peak exactly when you're trying to sleep. Panels won't kill a bass line coming through a wall; deep low frequencies are the hard part everywhere. But the high end of crowd and street noise drops significantly, and that's usually what's keeping you up.

Lakewood and the M Streets

A different Dallas entirely. These are 1920s-to-40s bungalows with a lot of their original single-pane windows, owned by people who bought the neighborhood for exactly that period character and don't want to tear it out. It's the strongest fit in the whole city: our panels sit on the inside and change nothing about the original window, so you keep the historic glass and still get the quiet.

Northwest Dallas and the Love Field paths

Love Field sits inside the city, and its flight paths run over parts of northwest Dallas. Aircraft noise is high-frequency, which the panels handle well, and we measure your actual exposure rather than guess from a map.

Roads and rail

The through-roads
and the rail underneath.

Under all of it, Dallas carries the region's heaviest road and rail load — I-35E (Stemmons), I-30, I-635, US-75, the Dallas North Tollway, and I-345, with all four DART lines converging downtown in the densest rail concentration in the metroplex. Wherever you are, something's running near you. More on what an insert does about traffic noise.

The fix

What the panels do,
everywhere in the city.

Whatever your Dallas noise is, the panel works the same way: a custom acrylic sheet and a sealed air gap over your existing window (here's how). It does the most on high-frequency sound — voices, traffic, aircraft, crowd noise — up to about 70% of what comes through the glass. Deep low rumble, including club bass and a low jet, is reduced but not eliminated. In a city this varied, that distinction is the whole conversation, and we'll have it honestly.

Straight answers

Dallas questions,
answered.

Still wondering something? Call (945) 395-9424 — we'll tell you straight what we can do for your home.

I'm in a Downtown or Uptown high-rise and can't change the windows. Options?

Yes — the panels don't modify the window, so there's nothing to get approved, and they come off clean.

I own a Lakewood bungalow with the original windows. Will this ruin the look?

No — it's the reason these fit historic homes. The panel's on the inside and reversible, so the original window is untouched.

Deep Ellum and Lower Greenville late-night music — can you stop it?

The high-frequency part of crowd and street noise drops a lot; the deep bass through walls is the hard part and gets softened, not silenced.

Does living under the Love Field flight path change anything?

Aircraft noise is high-frequency and responds well. We measure your real exposure instead of guessing.

Do you cover all of Dallas or just certain areas?

All of it — we come out from Carrollton for a free measure wherever you are in the city.
